Art Oasis

The "Art Oasis" established in September 2001, is a studio designed to enhance the creative spirit in all of us. Private and group instruction is taught using the "follow the leader" method of instruction. Classes are held weekday evenings beginning at 6:00 P.M. and ending at 9:00 P.M., weekend classes begin at 9:00 A.M. and end around 4:00 P.M. with a 45 minute lunch. Classes are limited to 10 students, ages 13 on up. Private instruction, both individual and group, is scheduled by reservation through the instructor.

A student wishing to take classes simply contact the studio 2 days before the class. On the day of the class arrive at least 15 minutes before class; bring a 16 by 20 stretched canvas, paper towels, and old clothes.

Bring brushes if you have them. The brush set can be rented and the canvas can be purchased for $5.00 each. The day of class easels, lighting, mixes paints, pallet paper, and cleaning materials are provided for each student. Refreshments, microwave, and a refrigerator are also available. Framing of your finished painting can be done at an additional cost, typically between $25.00 and $30.00.
