Six Handler

Six Handler (he/they) is a Half Moon Bay raised, queer, multimedia artist. As The Hideaway Gallery’s manager and curator, he seeks out artists that mesh with our atmosphere and mission and puts their work up on display. He also works in the Art Oasis Studio greeting customers and overseeing drop-in studio time. As an art appreciator and steward, Six likes anything as long as there’s something a little weird or unique about it. They’re a stalwart supporter of “bad” art and people’s right to make it.

Joshua Bodas (he/him) is a local queer artist working as a studio assistant at Art Oasis Studio. He creates demo crafts that showcase finished pieces of projects available for purchase, welcomes in customers and clients, and helps keep the studio clean and organized. Josh lives with their lovely partner, a wonderfully weird tabby cat named Nugget, and a grumpy old bearded dragon named Lena. He adores art and consumes a multitude of different online media in his growth as an artist, particularly animated projects and shows. He is also featured in the Hideaway Gallery under Quivker.
