Quivker

Quivker (he/him) is a multimedia queer artist working with digital painting, graphite, gouache paint, and acrylic paint pens. His art is shaped by his style, consisting of sharp shapes and detail-heavy linework with varying textures and forms. This stylization comes from his love of animation and online art, drawing inspiration from many shows, films, and novels. On top of the style inspiration, Quiv has always loved art that you can fall into and spend hours at a time seeing each individual paint stroke or pencil line; art where you can see each decision the artist took when creating and find new details you didn't see before. He focuses on animalistic forms and characters in his work, taking several different animal attributes at times to create unique and colorful designs. 

Quiv is mostly self taught, with him taking art classes from Sean Riordan and Claire Gould at Half Moon Bay High School and Susan Carkeek previously at Fly on the Wall.
