Join us at Art Oasis for a 3-week journey into the world of watercolors. "The Coastal Palette" is designed for absolute beginners to master the fundamentals—from understanding water-to-pigment ratios to capturing the misty Pacific horizon. Each Saturday morning, you'll learn to embrace the "flow" in a supportive, creative environment.
Class 1: The Anatomy of Water
Class 2: Values & Negative Space
Class 3: Texture & Detail
Dates: February 28th, March 7th and 14th
Location: Held in Art Oasis at 604 Main St, Suite J, Half Moon Bay CA
Tuition: $295 (Includes all classes and all materials)
Size: 3-10 students *minimum 3 students for class to run
Included Materials List:
Paper: 140lb (300gsm) Cold-Press (9x12 size).
Brushes: One Size 8 or 10 Round and one 1-inch Flat.
Paint: Artist-grade watercolor set (Tubes or Pans).
Palette: Plastic or ceramic with a large mixing space.
Water: Two jars (one to rinse, one to keep clean).
Sketching: Pencils and a kneaded eraser.
Setup: Blue painter’s tape and paper towels (or a rag).
(Optional) Table salt.
